Congratulations! You have some traction in your raise and are now ready to launch publicly on FrontFundr. As you continue your promotion efforts, you want to know more about how FrontFundr will promote your offering to our community of investors.
FrontFundr promotes your opportunity to our community of investors through a variety of channels. We want to support your success and provide several opportunities for your campaign to gain exposure in front of our audience.
As an exempt market dealer, we need to ensure that all raise promotions are compliant with the securities regulators across Canada. To remain in compliance with the regulations and our internal policies, FrontFundr maintains the sole discretion over the exact manner in which your campaign is marketed on our platform, and our marketing promotions are subject to change over time based on what we find to be successful.
Our Strategy
When raising capital from the crowd, narrative and momentum are critical. This is why we require all companies raising on our platform to have traction and social proof before engaging with the FrontFundr community. By leveraging your community and network in advance, new investors to the page, from the FrontFundr community and other sources, will be able to see strong interest in the opportunity - this can signal to potential investors that your offering is worth their consideration.
Our strategy is to drive visitors to our page from our community to allow your page to do the important work of converting visitors to investors. We encourage you to utilize your own marketing tools (such as email lists) as well as tools we provide (such as Campaign Updates) to convert visitors and prospects into committed investors.
Our Channels
FrontFundr uses a variety of different channels to drive visibility to your offering. Below is an overview of the reach of these various channels.
Our Tactics
FrontFundr uses several different strategies to highlight your offering with increasing placements as you reach new milestones.
Email Marketing
- Campaign launch announcement email: A dedicated email blast will be sent to the FrontFundr community when you launch publicly on the platform according to the following milestones:
- When launch requirements have been met (40% and 20 investors). This ensures that each campaign has activated its community and network before engaging FrontFundr’s audience, increasing the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
- Note: ‘Coming Soon’ or ‘Reservation Campaigns’ do not qualify for this email and will need to convert to an Investment Campaign before receiving this email promotion.
- Campaign milestone emails: Reaching new campaign milestones will unlock additional email promotions for your campaign. The content of these emails will be at FrontFundr’s sole discretion but the objective will be to feature new raise milestones and updates as the campaign progresses. These performance-based emails* will be unlocked at the following milestones:
- 85% on tracker
- 100% on tracker
- 115% on tracker
- 125% on tracker
- 150% on tracker
- 200% on tracker
- Note: If you reach more than one milestone within a single week, an email will be sent for the latest milestone achieved.
- *OM Processing deals that intend to be on the platform for more than a year can receive a semi-annual ‘campaign update’ email.
- FrontFundr weekly newsletter: Your campaign will appear in the newsletter at the following times:
- Any week that your campaign aligns with our theme (at our discretion)
