During the campaign you’ll be responding to many investor questions via the FrontFundr portal, during events, on social media, or during one-on-one meetings. It’s important to respond to investor questions quickly so the investor stays engaged which is why we recommend the investor contact email be monitored frequently throughout the campaign. Below are some best practices for using the Q&A tool through the FrontFundr platform.
Responding to Questions
For any questions from investors through the Q&A tab on the FrontFundr campaign page, a notification email will be sent to all team members with access to the Communications tab of the Issuer Portal. If multiple team members have access to this tab, consider assigning a project lead for investor relations who will either respond directly or contact the team member who can provide a response.
To respond to a question, you can either click on the link you receive via email or log in directly to the issuer portal. When you log in to the portal, go the Communications section and click on the Q&A tab. Here you will see the question you are looking to respond to along with any other questions that have been asked during the campaign.
We recommend trying to respond to investor questions within 12-24 hours. The campaign management team will follow up if questions have gone unanswered for a period of time.
To respond to the question, simply click on the applicable question, and a pop-up will appear. Enter your response and select the author name. When using the Q&A function to respond to investors’ questions, keep in mind that your name and responses will be visible to everyone on the platform.

Editing or Removing Questions
Questions do not appear on the page until they have been answered. If you do not want a question to appear on the campaign page, you can either respond to the investor directly or not respond at all. Responses can be edited and removed. You can also choose to remove a question entirely once it has been responded to.
Note that questions do not appear on the campaign page until you have responded to them so you do not need to worry about ever having several unanswered questions.

Preparing an FAQ
Before the campaign has launched, we recommend drafting a few FAQs that investors have already asked you or questions that you think investors might ask. Once the campaign has launched, you can ask these through the Q&A yourself. We recommend that someone on the team (who is not listed on the team page) or someone associated with the company ask these questions ahead of time.
Having a few questions already on the campaign page can help inspire investors to start asking questions. You can also highlight certain areas of the business you would like investors to know about.
Compliance Review
As with all items on the campaign page, the responses will need to be compliant. The responses should not make any claims of a return on investment or potential exit. Our team will be reviewing the responses once they have submitted, as there is a three strikes policy for removal from the platform if the guidelines are not followed.
